A tulip-shaped beaker very delicately painted in underglaze blue of pale tone.The exterior is decorated with four magpies; two in flight and two on branches that protrude from bamboo or tree fronds which emphasize the rim; the ground has delicate grasses and wild flowers with Taihu rocks; the interior with pencil-drawn" flag" type decoration; the rim is unglazed as is the base.
