A European decorated famille rose plate with two cockerels viewing each other in a painting scroll against a purplish pink ground covering the background and the cavetto. The flattened rim has a hexagonal diaper pattern in a pale lime green with four ogival windows with pink flowers and blue overglaze leaves. The reverse has pink floral sprays drawn in outline only.
