Description
Description part summary
Small brass quatre-foil shaped charm box inlaid with turquoise flower motifs. The brass loop at the top of the box suggests that it could be worn as a necklace or could be attached to clothing. The four crests around the central square box are studded with approx. 10 small turquoise stones each. The surface of the box is itself intricately carved with a delicate feather-shaped pattern. There are four flowers in each corner of the box which frame a smaller central square containing a single turqouise shaped flower. The edges of the box display a rope-like metal braiding which also appears around the inner square. The box opens from the back via a detachable piece of brass.
