Description
Description part summary
A Ru-type flared dish, the narrow sides springing from a foot-rim of wedge-shaped cross section with a black slip on the edge, covered overall with a grey-blue glaze of even colour. It will be noted that the Qing idea of Ru ware produced at Jingdezhen bears little resemblance to the Ru wares of the Northern Song, now positively identified from the discovery in 1986 of the Ru kiln at Qingliangsi, Baofeng County, Henan Province.
