Brass cupstand in an eight-petal blossoming lotus shape on a short cylindrical stand, each petal has incised Chinese characters, alternating between the character for jin (gold) and chun (spring) these characters are naively executed and may have been inscribed by someone unfamiliar with Chinese script. The brass lid is three-tiered with an imitation red coral bead knob on the crown. All three tiers are engraved with auspicious Buddhist symbols. The blue and white porcelain tea cup has a standard dragon and pearl design, there is a slight crack along one side.
