Description inscription
Base with 'tian' (heaven) mark. Such mark is not mentioned in Plummer's Temmoku (p. 69 et seq) and is apparently unrecorded. The tian character is similar to he (grain) but with one stroke less. A Chinese writer on Jian, however, mentions sherds with a tian mark being found.(dealer's comment, reference unknown).(BSM)
