A famille verte/rose plate decorated in Chinese taste with strawberry-like plant on green black-spotted ground. The leaves are black with two shades of green. There are three small flowers in rose, a praying mantis in yellow, blue and green on the ground, and a butterfly above. The base has a six character Chenghua mark in underglaze blue but the piece dates to the Yongzheng period.
