Description part summary
A rectangular black lacquer tray decorated with mother-of-pearl inlays of two ducks one in flight and the other by a lotus pond under a peony tree with narcissi on the opposite bank. The sloping sides are decorated with Buddhist lions with brocaded balls and precious emblems on the long sides in panels on the longer sides and two phoenixes in flight in panels on the shorter sides separated at the corners with diaper pattern.
