Bowl with slightly flaring rim decorated in the centre of the interior with a medallion with 'shou' character both in underglaze blue, the base unglazed with square footrim, the exterior decorated with polychrome enamels depicting, delicately drawn, the Three Friends of Winter (bamboo, pine and prunus), the pine tree and rock of Ming type tomato red, the prunus tree with aubergine and black with yellow flowers and light green bamboo.
