Description part summary

A square saucer dish with flat bottom, and two scalloped-edged sides angled at 45 degrees from the base. The centre is moulded with a duck standing with wings three quarters extended, holding a two-flowered peony spray in its beak. In each of the two top corners there is a small moth, and the interior base is surrounded by a raised line and raised dot borders. The outward-sloping sides have moulded peony sprays and the whole is covered with a white glaze of Ding type but of somewhat greyish white tone; the base is unglazed but with sand adhesions.
