Ko-Kutani four lobed oblong saucer decorated in polychrome overglaze enamels with a hut on stilts by a river in a landscape the colours being aubergine, blue, yellow and green; the outsloping cavetto decorated with a trailing vine or Vanetian creeper in overglaze blue, yellow and green with red berries on one side and a single red iris spray on the other side, with cafe au lait dressed rim, the reverse with tomato red zig-zag and underglaze blue round the base outside the foot rim and for the square mark on the centre of the base; late 17th century
