A large Tang-type ewer with conical body and narrow neck tapering to wide pinched cup shaped mouth with studded high handle. The piece is covered with a dark brown glaze splashed with cream and blue phase phosphatic splashes, the glaze ends short of the flat base. This piece is likely to be a 20th century copy.
