Description part summary
This group consists of: (i) A running ibex with its legs gathered underneath. The running pose in these two pieces is very characteristic of the 6th century BC and was replaced in the 5th century BC by a more static posture, such as in Exhibit 257. (ii) An ornamental plaque of a running red deer, the eye formed as a hole, the legs bunched together, the antlers laid back against the body and nose in the air.
