Description
Description part summary
A gilt copper figure of a deified lama seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base which extends half way round the figure. His hands are in the dhyana and bhumisparsa mudras. The figure is shown wearing heavy monastic robes arranged in regular pleats at the back, his face is treated as a portrait. The base is sealed with a later copper plate. There is a short inscription at the back which would probably enable this lama to be identified.
