Description part summary
A gilt brass solidly cast Manjusri figure seated on a rectangular cushion seat with right leg protruding and the left leg bent with the sole turned up. The left hand is shown holding a squirrel, the right is raised in a mudra position with the fingers joined. A free standing ribbon goes round the shoulder, behind the head and under the arms. The seat has elaborate stamped pattern borders.
