Large shallow bowl, the interior edged with doucai hatched diaper decoration, the centre with prunus tree in rouge-de-fer and aubergine overglaze enamels enriched by gilding, the tree trunk continuing on to the reverse; The foot rim has a concave channel forming a double foot rim and the base has a boldly written 6 character Kangxi mark in underglaze blue within a double circle.
