Description part summary

Two handled armorial tureen with a pine cone-shaped knob on the lid. The borders, lid and handle are decorated with blue, gold, and red overglaze enamels. Much of the golding is worn. The centre of the well is decorated with a spray of flowers in overglaze blue and gold outlines. The two sides of the vessel and lid are decorated with the full arms of Pratt. Three elephants and three stars are on the shield. The left support is a griffin and the right support is a lion. On the bottom banner is written "Justitium Parium aut Legesterrae." There is a coronet on top of the shield, and topeed with an elephant headed crest. The coat of arms is decorated with black, orange, red, grey and gold overglaze enamels
