Description
Description part summary
A good sized Shufu bowl with gently rounded sides, slightly out-turned at the rim. The unglazed base is solid with a slight insert. The interior has moulded decoration of two birds (peacocks/geese/pheasants?), male and female, amid peony scrolls below a key fret border. The central medallion has a single multi-petalled flower, one largish leaf with 'Qing' character. The leaves of the peony scroll are unusually broad with prominent veins in relief.
