A black lacquer inlaid plaque mounted as a screen, one side decorated with an immortal borne on the back of a dragon, holding a flute in his hands, crossing a swirling ocean in mother of pearl and various coloured stone inlays. The reverse is decorated with the Three Friends of Winter bamboo, pine and prunus in coloured stone inlays on a black lacquer ground, the whole supported on an elaborate wood stand pierced with fretwork.
