Description part summary
A small blue and white Shonzui-style saucer painted in the interior with dense brocade like pattern of five roundels on a deep blue background under a narrow cross-hatched band. The rim is dressed in iron brown. The exterior is deeply carved with spiralling lines under a yingqing-type glaze. The base has a poorly written six-character Chenghua mark, but the piece is 19th century.
