Description part summary
A tall vase and cover of attenuated meiping form. The neck is painted in brown iron oxide with straight petals above a large floral spray band at the shoulder. The body has a wide band of Buddhist lion dogs playing with brocade balls and ribbons and clouds above a narrow sectioned band of linked cash diaper and swastikas above a wide band of peony and clouds. The cover has an applied lion dog and ball, piecrust rim and plug base. The decoration appears under a clay stained greenish glaze.
