Description part summary
An ivory card case of undulating rectangular form. The top side is carved in high relief with small fish, crabs and cockles in high relief. The underside is plain but has two windows with low relief carving and the initials of the cardholder, Mary Ariel Stewart Deacon (1871-1947) - MASD was the grandmother of BSM (founder of the Museum), this card case was made for her whilst she was in Hong Kong in 1936.
