A Yue celadon covered box, its cover decorated with a carved parrot and floral patterns surrounded by a triple band of raised lines and an outer band of impressed scrolls. The greyish clay body is plain with splayed footrim and the base showing traces of a ring of spur marks. The whole box is covered with a greyish celadon glaze.
