Rounded rectangular writing box (suzuribako) decorated on the top and sides in hiramakie, takamakie and okibirame on a nashiji ground with two noblemen and an attendant looking at a waterfall in a rocky landscape,the interior of the lid and bottom section with landscape decoration in similar techniques with two gold lacquer brushes and a silver water dropper decorated with chrysanthenum flowers.
