A large pottery tomb guardian beast (zhenmushou) with dog-like body seated on all fours on a flat plinth. The creature has horns on forehead and shoulders and flame point on head and three fins on its back. The human face has a pair of large ears at right angles, the feet with hooves like a horse, all with traces of unfired pigment and slip.
