Description part summary
A small blue and white dish of circular shape, the shallow flared sides at a sharp angle, decorated on the exterior with a frieze of detached stylised lotus sprays divided from a frieze of cloud scrolls beneath the rim by a zig-zag line. The flat centre with a medallion of interlaced ruyi heads and lotus buds encloses a circle within a double line border. The underglaze blue of soft tone beneath a waxy glaze, burnt orange present in a thin line where the glaze meets the body.
