Description part summary
A bronze dagger axe designed to fit on top of a wooden handle. The short and pointed blade is balanced by a tiger biting the top edge of the blade and holding in its talons the neck and rump of a phoenix squatting on the head of the shaft. The legs of the tiger are decorated with scales, its body with incised swirls.
