Description part summary
A gilt on top of red lacquer on bronze Guanyin figure seated in attitude of royal ease with one knee raised on which one hand rests. Her head has an elaborate crown with 5 ball-ended points rather like a jester's cap. The figure is set in a recessed area in a plain rectangular pinkish grey shallow marble plinth. The gilding is well worn.
