Nephrite jade bowl of barbed quatrefoil section, the steeply flared sides rising from a flat base supported on four ruyi-shaped feet, lightly engraved with a sage leaning on a staff accompanied by an attendant, walking towards a thatched hut set among trees and shrubs in a continuous rocky landscape, the straight rim undecorated, the mottled white stone with russet striations and some brown markings.
