A finely moulded Yingqing/Qingbai dish with shallow flaring sides delicately decorated with a central motif of a single lotus spray. The curled and intertwined stems of the flower bearing three loose petalled blooms extend over the recessed central medallion. The attractive glaze is of pale blue tone stopping short of the rim to reveal the white ware.
