A parcel-gilt bronze petal-shaped fitting decorated in parcel-gilt with fabulous animals and birds arranged symmetrically. The six holes on the fitting are probably meant for fastening the fitting onto textile or leather. Probably used as a horse fitting by the Xiongnu or one of the other nomadic tribes active in the steppes.
