Description part summary

A globular jar and cover, the rim with a white slip dribbling down the body in ridges which were formed by a knife. It is covered almost to the base and inside with a black iron-oxide glaze of Cizhou-type tending to a speckled brown black where there is no underglaze slip. The body is buff where unglazed, and the footrim has five spur marks. The cover has a white slip on top and bottom, covered on the top with brownish black glaze; The handle is shaped like a flower stem.
