Description part summary

A small foliated covered seal paste box with shallow foot-rim decorated on the top of the cover with a landscape scene of a pavilion beside a lake under a rocky cliff within a foliated border, in famille rose enamels of blue, rose, black and yellow. The other parts of the box are decorated with stylised floral patterns. The interior and base, other than the four character seal mark of Qianlong in underglaze blue, are covered with a greenish-turquoise overglaze as commonly found late in the reign.
