Description part summary
A Yaozhou celadon U-shaped shallow circular bowl, the exterior deeply carved with two peony flower heads with leaves on each side, the interior plain. The celadon glaze of rich greyish green colour with extensive pooling and fine bubbles evident throughout. The base shows the oily brown finish generally seen on the pieces from this kiln.
