Description part summary
A qingbai bowl of slightly flared U-shape, the cavetto with a moulded spray of five petalled prunus, a crescent moon and a constellation (three stars) reflected in a pond in the centre, the reverse plain. The piece was fired on the narrow unglazed rim, the foot is shallow and covered with a glaze of slightly blue tone.
