A red lacquer saucer dish decorated chiefly in gold painting with a little black on the front. A land and riverscape is shown in the centre with bridge, willow tree, four figures and a seven character couplet. The cavetto has four groups of pendant floral sprays, one of lotus and one of prunus. The rim of the saucer is edged in metal.
