Description part summary
A small bamboo incense stick holder of light colour in the form of a bamboo section with a piece of oval shaped bamboo open at the top. There are extensive inscriptions in running script (kaishu) and seal script. There is also a lightly carved peony tree emerging from a rock with sprays curling round the holder, each flower however is very deeply carved. The calligraphy has various signatures.
